7.1 What is a Persona?

A saved “voice profile” — either from your own audio upload or a text description. Think of it as a voice template you can reuse across songs.

7.2 Creating a Persona

Method 1: Upload Audio

  1. Click “Create Persona”
  2. Choose “Upload Audio”
  3. Upload a clear, solo vocal clip (2-120 seconds, a cappella preferred)
  4. Name it

Requirements:

  • Clean audio, minimal background noise
  • Single voice, no harmonies
  • Ensure you have rights to the audio

Method 2: Text Description

  1. Choose “Describe Voice”
  2. Write a detailed description
  3. System generates a matching Persona

Example:

Young female voice, breathy and intimate, slight vocal fry, American accent, indie pop style

7.3 Using Personas

Select your Persona in vocal settings when generating songs.

Note: Not all styles suit all Personas. A deep male voice Persona singing high female pop will sound off.

7.4 Limitations

  • Cannot perfectly clone a real voice — it’s “similar”
  • May lose certain characteristics
  • No fine control over articulation or accent

7.5 Why Personas “Bleed Flavor”

After using a Persona for many songs, you might notice it always carries certain quirks: handclaps, whistles, fixed reverb, habitual vocal tics.

Reason: Personas learn not just the voice but also the recording environment and singing habits.

Prevention:

  • Training audio should be clean: no background noise, handclaps, counting, reverb, or accompaniment
  • If artifacts appear, recreate with cleaner audio or add to Style:
Clean vocal take, dry recording, studio booth, no crowd

7.6 Re-injection Method

If your original audio gets rejected for Persona creation:

  1. Upload the vocal, generate normally
  2. Leave lyrics minimal or empty
  3. Use [Fade Out] [End] to finish quickly
  4. Get Full Song
  5. Use this new, cleaner file to create Persona

Success rate improves significantly.

7.7 Fix Bleeding with Environment Description

When a Persona carries fixed space/habits:

Don’t write: No Reverb, No Crowd, No Effects

Write: Dry Studio Booth, Close Mic, Clean Vocal Take, No Ambience

Describing what should be is always more stable than negating what shouldn’t.
